Action Synthese is a CGI Animation Studio located in Marseille, Provence. We have built a full production line specialized in feature film and TV series production. The Studio pair technical know-how, production tools and creative skills dedicated to computer generated animation filmmaking.

We produced the very first European 3D feature film with worldwide success : The Magic Roundabout which grossed $ 28 M. in worldwide box office receipts and was released by 2300 copies throughout the U.S. The Studio was in charge of The Magic Roundabout’s line production, exhibiting its capabilities of succeeding in these creative and technical challenges within a $ 17 M. budget frame; Consequently, We have been honoured with the film bond Film Finances congratulations for the respect of the budget and the release in time of the feature film.

Action Synthese Studio then managed the line production of 104 episodes of the Magic Roundabout TV series. The series went on to become an international success and, according to the Association of French TV Program Exporters, attracted 168 million TV viewers throughout Europe.

The Studio exhibited their capacities to manage animated feature films and TV series making. Our productions garnered both professional and audience successes. They also paid Executive Producers for their investments and generated a large amount of profits.

During 12 years of various achievements and experiences, the Studio developed an in-house production line and R&D proprietary tools, two assets allowing to produce the highest quality productions within budget constraints.

Depending on the type of project, Action Synthese can either be Executive Producer, and/or Co-Producer and/or Line Producer.

French measures on the International Tax Rebate allow Action Synthese to bring 20% of the spending, completed in France, as a refund at the end of the production schedule. The Studio is also able to provide equity investments, depending on the projects and production configurations.

The Studios has developed important partnerships such as those we developed with Weinstein&Co, Pathé UK, Merlin Films, France 2 Cinema, M6 Group, Nickelodeon, ZDF, Hewlett Packard etc. We point the way to further developments by considering any serious proposal of collaborations and partnerships.
